The Weekend

The weekend was so good
I suppose it might be nice to talk about something else other than being pregnant.  I mean, it is basically my whole life right now, but not my whole, whole life.  I take that back actually.  It is my whole, whole life because he is with me and I am pregnant regardless of what I'm doing.  What I'm saying is that everything I do does not, against contrary belief, revolve around taking pictures of my stomach in my bathroom mirror.  Shocker.

Friday night called for some major vegging.  The week had been long and El Charro was calling both of our names, which normally only happens on Tuesdays, so we had to take advantage.  When we're super tired and lazy we do this thing where we drag our couch across the living room and put it right in front of the TV so we can sit on the floor and eat our food and lean against the couch. It's fun and actually happens far to often lately.  I think our kitchen table feels abandoned.

Saturday morning my dad came over to finish painting the nursery while my mom and I went and got pedicures. I cannot wait to share it when it is all done.  I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing it looks.  My dad is the bomb.

Saturday afternoon my mom, my sister, my niece and myself went shopping at the outlets! We had so much fun buying things for the babies (and ourselves!).  It was a lot of walking and baby holding and then a snack-break for some pretzels and cheese.  It would have been complete if Beth (older sister!) could have been there with us.  Girls days are the best!

Saturday night Frank and I were planning on going out and doing something but I could barely walk after walking all day.  The back pain is really starting to kick in.

Sunday was breakfast at Franks parents, church, a day-date with Frank to see The Lucky One, a photo shoot and waffles and applesauce for dinner.

I guess it was so good because it was filled with family, staying busy, progress in the nursery and getting along with Frank.  Things have been so much better, STILL, and I am so thankful for it.
