Dear Cooper // Week 22

My Little Sweetheart,

I love you so, so much.  It's important to start off with that because that's the most important thing, right?  Week twenty-two has been amazing, like every other week, but different because you're such a big boy now.  I can hold your gaze while you nurse but that's about it these days, your little eyes are constantly zooming around the room taking everything in.  When we play on the floor you always lift your feet up to grab them and then throw them down, over and over again, it's really cute [and probably doing wonders for your core].  It's so fun talking to you because you seem to really take it in and try to talk back.  Your vocabulary consists of "HEY!" and "yeahhh" right now and I'm so in love with your little voice.

I'm found taking pictures and videos of you all day long because I simply can't get enough.  Every face you make I try to capture, every sound you make, every move you make... I want to capture it all.  I want to put it all in a bottle because it's just so special.  If you could only know the love that you have, the compliments we get on you left and right... it's amazing.  You are the happiest little bug now and it makes me so proud.

Each morning you wake up talking and I give you a big "Good Morning!!!" which pulls a huge smile out of you.  We lay in bed and talk and smile at each other for a little while before mommy takes a shower and you play in the bouncer right outside the shower.  After that we get you dressed for the day and then you play on the floor while I eat breakfast and then get ready for the day.  Sometimes you will sit in the recliner like a big boy and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, it's adorable.  We've "trained" you to sleep in your crib for naps now so mommy has a chance to clean up a bit and you are able to get some good uninterrupted sleep.  I can tell that there is a noticeable difference in your mood now, so HORRAY for that! Sleep is good baby, sleep is good!

I need to brag on how amazing you were during our flight last week week, you made friends with our fellow passengers and even got your own set of wings from the flight attendant!  Your ears didn't seem to bother you one bit and you went to sleep easily.  I think we'll be making a lot of trips during your lifetime!

Thank you for the joy you bring into my life.  I can't imagine a day, let alone an hour, without seeing your beautiful smiling face.  Your laughs, squeals and screams are the best noises and your kisses (that you give ALL the time now!) are my favorite.  You are such a loving baby.  You are perfect in every way.  Please stay innocent for as long as possible.

I love you more than ever.
