HIIIIIIIII BAYBEEEE (our little thing that makes you smile so amazingly big),

Week thirty nine was a little rough on us.  I'm not sure why those pesky teeth won't just pop through! They are causing some pretty extreme breakdowns that I think we are both worn out by.  A part of me is ready for them to be through, but really I'm just savoring the last of your gummy smile, I can't believe it will be gone soon.  Do you see how emotional I am when it comes to you?  I'll try to tone it down ;)

I'm not sure if I ever marked it down on here, but you are 16 pounds 11 ounces and 27.5 inches long! You are in the third percentile for weight and the twenty-third for height! You are my peanut and I love you so.  I haven't updated about this stuff in awhile so... you are wearing size 3-6 month shirts, some 9 month onesies, 9 month pajamas, 6 month pants, 0-6 months socks, and 0-3, 3, and 6 month shorts.  You can wear a size 2 or 3 diaper, at night definitely a size 3 though!

Your smile lights up my world.  You have so many different smiles now, and faces too, and its always such a joy to see them! It is getting increasingly hard to catch smiles on camera that aren't blurry because you are always moving! You still love to jumpy, jumpy, jumpy and are dancing now too when music comes on.  You're clapping your hands, banging toys together, throwing fits on the floor when you want me to be holding you right then, holding onto one thing and then moving to the next (daring baby, you!), and love to have me hold your hands and walk around the house.

We took your second little trip this past weekend, first by car, and you did great!  The nights are always hard on us because you don't like your pack-n-play much but we manage!

Your feet are tiny, you got size 2 sea-wees for Easter from Nanny and they are HUGE on you! Looks like all the shoes mommy bought you for when you start walking aren't going to be fitting you.

You're the apple to my pie baby boy!

I love you more than ever.

p.s. Bombs exploded during the Boston Marathon yesterday.  I pray that the horrific acts that seem to be happening more and more regularly around our country will stop before you are old enough to understand.  We live in a crazy world, pumpkin.

  1. :) It's so beautiful how your love for this little man just shines through your writing.
