Dear Cooper // Week 40

Hi Buddy!

I'm a little bit late on writing this, you turned 41 weeks old this past Sunday and now it's Thursday and you'll be 42 weeks old in a few days.  Time flies!  We have been busier than usual with this being Mama's last week of the semester, the weather warming up significantly, and Nanny and Poppy getting you and Payton an awesome swing set!

You are EVERYWHERE! It is so much fun watching you coordinate your hands and knees to get all around.  You get frustrated that you can't crawl as fast as I walk.  I will cheer you on as you crawl, you will get mad that you're not moving fast enough, you will start to scoot, and then the screaming starts!  I think a big part of it is that you just want me to pick you up!  I do pick you up, but I want you to improve at crawling too... we're getting there.  You pull up on any and everything that you can get your hands on and you like to freak me out! You are SO brave! You will try to stand up in the middle of the floor with nothing to grab onto and end up face planting before I can get to you quick enough.  You will pull up on me and then just let go, trying to stand on your own.  I am glad for this though because you are improving on standing on your own so much! I'd say that you can do it for a good solid 10 seconds now.  You will try to move your feet, I think we are at least a few weeks away from walking though.  You are so short and tiny, I can't imagine you waddling around.

You make me so proud.  I am so proud to be your mama.  You are so beautiful.  You are so perfect.  You are so smart.  I can't tell you how much you have changed my life, it is really amazing.

Little things: You don't seem to like banana's much anymore.  The only way I can get you to eat vegetables is if I mix it with fruit.  Your hair is looking so blonde.  Your feet as so small.  Your scream is so loud.  You're way more interested in non-toys, than toys.  Your top left tooth is SO close to popping through.  You loves baths but not as much as you used to.  You are so good at clapping that you actually make the "clapping noise" when you put your hands together.  You are trying to accompany your clapping with "yay" like Mama does.

I love you more than ever.

Mama
xoxo
And more because I can't help myself:
