FATHERS DAY WITH NO FATHER

it was a hard day. so here's a bunch of pictures.

i wrote a post, kept it up for a day, and then deleted it.  frank is engaged to a girl with a child around coopers age.  i'm devastated for cooper.  his "father" is not a father.  his "father" spent fathers day on vacation with his fiance and her child. i'm at such a loss.  a serious heartbreak is coming for my sweet cooper and i have no idea how to stop it.

i am so thankful for my sweet daddy though.  he is here for not only me, but cooper too.  he has taken it upon himself to show cooper was a real man and father is.  it's really sweet.

i hope you had the very best day, though. i really, really do!

  1. Aw Olivia, I have no words. I am so, so sorry. I'm so thankful that your dad will show Cooper what a true father figure looks like, and I will be praying that God's love would cover this giant mess that Frank has put in your hands.

You are so strong, Lib. Cooper is SO darn lucky to have a Mommy that loves him as fiercely as you do. Some kids have both parents and will never feel that fierce love from either.

  2. Olivia---somehow I came across your blog and I just want you to know how wonderful I think you are! You are doing an amazing job raising such a darling little boy. I read back quite a few months to learn more about you….and considering what you have gone through YOU ARE TRIUMPHING! Keep your head up, keep Cooper your number one priority (which you do SO well!), keep praying, and I promise that some wonderful man will find his way into your lives and sweep you off your feet. You and Cooper deserve the best---and I will keep you in my prayers as well.

    Hugs to you!
