coopers second halloween was nothing short of a blast. i wasn't too sure how into it he would be but little guy knows what chocolate is so i figured that would be an incentive of some sort aaaand it twas.
all week long we practiced saying "trick or treat" and i can't tell you how big my heart was to hear him say it door after door. also, as soon as his nanny would say "have a good night" to each candy-hander-outter, cooper was right behind her saying "nigh nigh". he's sweeter than any candy out there, really.
there was a slight moment at 6:15 when i thought i was going to have a heart attack because we were sitting in traffic and not out on the street getting candy but we survived the crisis.
the night started with a tradition of spaghetti dinner at franks moms house that i was invited to attend (thankfully because i did not want to leave my little gnome). next was sitting in traffic and after that we met up with auntie ally, cousin payton, her friend and her son, and nanny and poppy to get the party started. and finally, we met up with eric and his little charlie brown for some pizza!
a lot of fun. a lot, a lot of fun.
